New cast member to ITVBe series The Real Housewives of Cheshire, and founder and design director of Forever Unique Seema Malhotra has this week teamed with Female First to give her style predictions for the forthcoming MTV Movie Awards, taking place on April 10.

She says: "With spring here and summer just around the corner, I predict lots of bold colour on the red carpet at this year's MTV Movie Awards. Soft pastel shades are revisited each spring and this time it was Oscar de la Renta and Emilia Wickstead to showcase this trend in their fashion week collections.
"For me, pastel shades never fail to make a statement, so I expect to see mid-length and skater dress styles in blush pink, peach and powder blue. I also think that contrasting textures will be at the forefront, with floral lace applique and 3D organza techniques used to add contrast and high-impact glamour.
"I think there's going to be some amazing looks at the MTV Movie Awards and I can't wait to see what my favourite actresses will be wearing."
