Cropped hair may be the latest hot style with our fave celebs but not everyone is getting it right. Female First look at those who should perhaps re-think their new short hair.
Film goddess Keira Knightley rarely gets it wrong, however when it comes to having the chop we have to plead to keep the length!
IIn 2005 Keira hacked off her locks for her bounty hunter role in the film Domino, although the crop was all part of the character the hairdo wasn’t the most flattering for her prominent jaw line. With Knightley strong features a shorter cut needs to keep its femininity, less jagged and longer layers would assist in bringing out Keira’s natural beauty.
With short hair Kelly Osborne has experimented all the looks; from jet black to bright bottle blondes Kelly seems to swap hair styles and colours as regularly as she does clothes. Some of her famous hair disasters are the shorter, blunter cuts which look too harsh for her soft round face. Though Kelly has been a serial hair offender in the past it seems she has finally seen the light (or the right shade of dye) and has chosen bouncy dark curls to frame her face. Much better Kelly, just don’t take any tips off showbiz pal Amy Winehouse, the beehive doesn’t suit everyone!
In February 2007 Britney showed the world she was on the verge of a meltdown when she shaved off all her hair with an electric clipper at a salon in San Fernando Valley. The singer gave no reason for the bald statement, although when asked by salon owner Esther Tognozzi whether it was to symbolize a fresh start the troubled singer replied, “Something like that.”
