Style Icon Or Style Victim?
Lindsay Lohan has had more drama in the past few years than most people have in a lifetime. Drink, drugs, self-abuse and weight issues are just some of the battles Li-Lo has faced.
After two stints in rehab and a acting career that has arguably nose dived since her personal life overtook her professional career, Lindsay looked certain to disappear of the radar altogether.
But this is Lindsay we're talking about, and she is not someone to take things lying down. Despite her career virtually in tatters and problems surfacing in her family life, Linds partied like her life depended on it, wearing outrageous outfits, flashing her bits and sometimes, making some pretty cool fashion choices.
With her life looking like it's getting back on track a bit, with new love Samantha Ronson credited as a positive influence, she was then spotted looking worryingly thin at the VMA's and then was seen with scars on her arm, prompting worries that she was self-harming.
Aside from all these personal issues, we thought we'd look back at shopoholic Lindsay's fashion sense over the years to see how it has improved, or not as the case may be.
Ahh, Lindsay as she was intended to be. Gorgeous flaming red hair, minimal make-up, and a curvy figure to die for. We're not mad keen on the blue dress and fake tan overload, but her bust looks incredible!
Well at least she's laid of the fake tan here! She already looks like she's lost weight and her new hair colour is too severe. We like the green dress and red nails combo, though Linds.
Look who's gone all Hollywood on us! Lindsay has got her sexy look down to perfection here. We're not a huge fan of this new look on her, but her natural hair colour is nearly back, which arguably suited her the best. She also looks older than her years here as well, despite being only 19.
Don't you just want to give her a hug? Linds looks totally out of it here, with dopey eyes, washed out skin and bleached hair. We like the funky sequined top, but you would need a washboard tummy to pull this look off!
This picture was taken at the VMA's only last month, and it sparked health fears for Lindsay's weight once again. Her pose looks as though she is confident in her choices, but the curvy Lindsay we once knew has almost disappeared.
