Nigella Lawson reportedly spent £55,000 at Donna Karan over four years.
The TV chef's past cocaine and cannabis use has recently been exposed in court, but it appears that wasn't her only secret as it has now been revealed Nigella has racked up a fortune at the luxury womenswear brand.
According to the Daily Telegraph newspaper, it was revealed at Isleworth Crown Court yesterday (11.12.13) during the trial of her two former personal assistants, Elisabetta and Francesca Grillo, that the curvaceous cook spent a whopping £55,567.68 in 22 transactions over four years in the label's London and New York stores.
In court, Nigella joked she was "not very good on fashion" but said "most of what I earn" goes on spending sprees at Donna Karan stores.
The star previously revealed the designer's chic black dresses are her style staple because they flatter her womanly curves.
She said: "It stretches. It's as comfortable as a nightie. And it's designed for a woman, not a boy."
The Grillos are accused of defrauding Nigella's ex-husband Charles Saatchi by spending around £685,000 on personal items with their company credit cards. The trial continues.
