Through the Spring/Summer 15 season we seen the return of the ugly shoe, with Birkenstocks and Pool Sliders becoming a must-have look. But Suki admits that her love for clumpy shoes stems from her teenage years.

The 22-year-old said: "It's all about slightly ugly shoes. I bought Doc Martens when I was 13 and wore them pretty much every day until I was 20.

"They stank and my dad wouldn't even let them in the house, but I was completely in love with them."

However, these days the brunette beauty is more likely to be found in her flatform Superga trainers - a cross between a flat plimsoll and a platform - after designing her own mini collection for the footwear brand.

She said: "I've been wearing Supergas forever. I'm always in flats running around so it makes sense for me. I love the suede blue flatforms - I'm seriously into flatforms."

The line, which features pastel shades as well as bold red and navy, is the model's first designing experience for the brand and each of the shoe styles aims to express her "personality, femininity and playfulness".
