X Factor Fashion: Cheryl Cole Opens Series in 3.1 Phillip Lim Dress

Cheryl Cole kicked of another season of fab X Factor fashion in this stunning orange and green checked dress.

Not only does the start of the new series mean loads of hot new singing talent but it also signals the unveiling of a whole new Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue wardrobe for us all to drool over.

We love this 3.1 Philip Lim dress that Cheryl opned the series with- the bright colours look great against her tanned skin and dark hair. What better way to appear back on our screens with a bang?

As for Dannii, she made her series debut in an equally stunning white asymetric gown. She opted for a more classic, grown up look compared to Cheryl's fun and girly outfit.

The flowing silk dress was bang on the 80s trend and the belt around the waist showed of Dannii's great curves.

So who is the victor in the first week of fashion rivalry? We think Cheryl just has the edge in Episode One but watch this space because Dannii isn't far behind!
