Heather Thomson, the creative talent behind collections by Sean "P.Diddy" Combs and Jennifer Lopez, is now working for Knowles, a spokesman for the pop star and her business partner, Kids Headquarters, confirmed yesterday.

Thomson has been in hot demand since she helped establish Combs' Sean John line as a credible fashion force.

J.Lo poached Thomson from the pop star's ex-boyfriend in 2002, to help get her Sweetface Fashion off the ground.

The spokesman for Knowles downplayed questions of another poaching, however, explaining instead that Thomson's contract with Sweetface had expired.

Thomson will have her work cut out for her. Knowles and Kids Headquarters are hard at work looking for companies to produce sportswear, shoes, handbags and a variety of other products under Knowles' yet-unnamed fashion label.

Ms Thomson will work closely with Knowles' mother, Tina, who will oversee creative direction for the brand. Source: New York Post
