Kate Moss still the face of Chanel

Supermodel Kate Moss has signed a new deal with French fashion house Chanel to continue as the face of its 'Coco Mademoiselle' perfume.

It was reported last month that Chanel were not too happy with Moss and were considering replacing her with teenage Hollywood sensation Scarlett Johansson.

"We never considered replacing Kate and we have always been happy with the relationship," Ananova quoted a Chanel spokeswoman as saying.

"Chanel has chosen Kate Moss to embody the next advertising campaign for Coco Mademoiselle from January 2005.

"Kate will continue as the face of the perfume and we are delighted with the relationship we have with her," she added.

Chanel's artistic director, Jacques Helleu, made the decision to renew the model's contract.

Moss is reportedly worth 1 million pounds and has been the face of Coco Mademoiselle for the past three years.
