Fashion: Eva Longoria angers PETA

Eva Longoria is the latest high profile celebrity to anger PETA.

The animal rights organisation has written to the star urging her not to wear fur.

Contact music reported that PETA president Ingrid Newkirk discovered pictures of Longoria wearing fur and has asked for her support in achieving a no fur policy.

In her letter Newkirk said:" Although you have many fans here at PETA, we were disappointed to see photographs of you wearing fur at a variety of recent events.

"We are writing to ask you to please reconsider wearing fur. It would be a tremendous help to animals if you'd establish a 'no-fur' policy."

Newkirk is reported to have sent the actress a shocking new video on the Chinese fur industry.
