Adele To Appear In Vogue

Singing sensation Adele is moving into the fashion industry by posing for Vogue, Associated Press reports. The spread in the magazine will be shot by celebrity photographer Annie Leibovitz.

Adele said: "I went to go do my final fitting for the shoot. Then (American Vogue Editor in Chief) Anna Wintour wanted to meet me, so I was waiting in the hallway."

"It was just like 'The Devil Wears Prada,'" Adele said. "It was amazing. I was really frightened and I went in and she was so nice. She was like, 'What labels do you like?' I was trying to make up these designers that I was quite sure I had read in Vogue or something before."

It was a double whammy for Adele though as Wintour took a liking to the 20 year old and offered to style her for the Grammys, where she has been nominated for four awards. She said: "Anna Wintour is sorting out my outfit for me."

"I got a really nice dress. I don't ever wear dresses. I wear dresses with tights and flat shoes and a cardigan. ... It's going to be quite a big deal."
