Avril Lavigne has been pictured posing for her new clothing range.

The 24-year-old singer donned a range of colourful designs to promote her latest collection, for fashion label, Abbey Dawn.

Rock chick Avril sported a beehived hair-do teamed with a stripy neon vest and checked shorts, as she hung out in LA yesterday.

In another shot she donned a pair of yellow jeans, Dr.Martins and a beanie hat, while posing on top of a rooftop ledge.

Avril reportedly named the label after her childhood nickname, according to hello magazine, and takes a keen interest in all aspects of her fashion label's development.

Although the range is arguably quirky and for the younger market, some fashion critics have already labelled Avril's look as a disaster.

Currently available online, it will soon be available in the U.S. stocked in Kohls stores.
