Barbara Hulanicki Hates Vintage Fashion

Vintage clothing seems to be the trend that won't go away thanks to fashionistas such as the Olsen twins and Sienna Miller but Biba founder Barbara Hulanicki is not a fan.

The 73 year old designer told The Guardian how the psychic energy in the clothes has put her off the trend.

She said: "As you get older you get more psychic. I can't stand vintage clothes - there's something so intense about their energy even after they've been cleaned."

We've heard plenty of excuses for not getting on board with a particular style but this one is new to us!

So what style does Barbara like? Just black it seems! She told the paper: "I only wear black now. It's easier, you don't have to think. You just have different grades of clothes depending on how old they are."
