Betsey Johnson is the latest designer to cancel their catwalk show at New York Fashion Week.
The Wall Street Journal reports that Betsey will not have her usual runway show at the Bryant Park tent.
The current financial climate has taken many fashion week victims and designer Carmen Marc Valvo has confirmed that he will not show his fall collection at February's fashion week blaming high costs.
Staging a catwalk show at Bryant Park is said to cost at least $100,000.
Betsey plans to stage some sort of presentation in place of a catwalk show but no format or location has been decided.
