Simon Fuller has signed a deal with German supermodel Claudia Schiffer.

The pop Svengali, who managed the Spice Girls and still represents Victoria and David Beckham interests, made the announcement yesterday.

Fuller will handle Schiffer’s worldwide management and her name, image and brand rights.

He recently formed a company 19RM with celebrated designer Roland Mouret to develop fashion projects.

Schiffer’s signing is the latest development in the formidable partnership.

She told reporters:" I am delighted to form this new partnership with Simon. He is a creative thinker who understands how important fashion is to people. I am really looking forward to us working together."

Fuller added:" "Claudia is unique and definitive," he said. "Mention her name in any country in the world and everyone knows who she is and what she looks like. This global recognition as a fashion icon will provide us with many exciting opportunities ahead."
