Diane Von Furstenberg to Launch Shoe Range

Diane Von Furstenberg has announced plans to create a new line of shoes.

The designer is famously a big fan of shoes by her friend Christian Louboutin but now she plans to give him a run for his money with her own range.

Diane has signed a licensing partnership with footwear manufacturer and distributor Schwartz & Benjamin and plans to launch DVF Shoes in time for next spring.

"I wanted to create shoes for the woman on-the-go and always on her feet," she told WWD.
