John Galliano is planning to mark the 60 year anniversary of Christian Dior with a huge splash.
According to reports she is planning to stage a one- off couture show on July 2nd, inside Versailles Orangerie.
According to WWD, the models have already been booked and instructed to arrive at the stunning palace eight hours before the catwalk show.
Galliano will also make an appearance in the capital during London fashion Week. He will hold a champagne reception at the V&A with British Vogue.
Although couture is considered a dying art in comparison to the successful ready to wear collections -Galliano remains a passionate supporter of the craft;
Fittingly he will celebrate the opening of the gallery’s exhibition named ‘The Golden Age of Couture.’
