Christopher Kane Fascinated By Versace

Christopher Kane is "transfixed" by Donatella Versace.

The Scottish-born designer, who works as a consultant for Versace, is constantly inspired by the Italian fashion house's vice president.

He said: "Donatella is a great boss. She walks in a room and you are transfixed. You just want to hang out with her all the time. There is so much stuff she wants to tell you, and so much you want to ask her."

She smelled really good and looked immaculate in a Prada dress with gorgeous jewellery. She was down to earth and focused.I was in scruffy jeans and I was stinking.

Christopher - whose designs have been worn by stars including Emma Watson, Rihanna and Freida Pinto - also revealed he was overwhelmed and underdressed when he met Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of America's Vogue magazine.

He said: "She smelled really good and looked immaculate in a Prada dress with gorgeous jewellery. She was down to earth and focused.

"I was in scruffy jeans and I was stinking."

Christopher's collection for UK high street chain Topshop will be available in stores this autumn.
