Donatella Versace found the Versus catwalk show "emotional".
The diffusion collection - which Glasgow designer Christopher Kane acted as a consultant for - premiered at Milan Fashion Week yesterday (27.09.09).
Donatella said: "Christopher's a volcano of ideas. He knows how to dress a woman's body and he looks at young people and the young world, and that's the future."
Donatella was encouraged to design the Versus line by her brother Gianni, who died in 1997.
The Spring/Summer 10 collection comprised 21 dresses in either red, nude or black.
Each piece was made of jersey, wool or lace, with some featuring embellishments.
The short, body-conscious dresses were teamed with accessories including flat boots and sandals decorated with chainmail.
Dolce and Gabbana also showed over the weekend, and sent models down the catwalk in a variety of corsets.
Some boasted rose prints, other were made of denim or black lace, while the brave can look forward to donning leopard-print versions.
The idea was to provoke sensuality, because it's feminine and sexy.

Stars including Peaches Geldof, Alice Dellal and Daisy Lowe turned out to watch the spectacle, which included underwear worn as outerwear.
Wrap-around cardigans were teamed with big knickers, while bustiers and bras also featured.
Karl Lagerfeld's latest Fendi range centred on barely-there fabrics in a nude pallet.
Silk romper-suits, French knickers, bras and bubble skirts were included, as were a new range of bags by Silvia Venturini Fendi which are designed to be used as several different carry cases in one.
The leather bag includes linen or embroidered fabric sections, while a night version comes in satin.
Marni presented a layered look, with striped leggings and patterned fabrics all big looks.
Jersey trousers, spotty shorts and silk jackets meant this collection was more designed for summer.
Shoes took the form of suede sandals and heeled loafers, while ankle socks were also featured.
