Claus-Dietrich Lahrs, CEO of Christian Dior Couture, has been named as the new head of Hugo Boss.
Lahrs, who has been in charge at French fashion house Dior for almost 5 years will replace former Hugo Boss CEO Bruno Saelzer in August, according to a statement by the company.
Saelzer quit the company in February after disagreements with their leading investors, Permira.
Lahrs is now looking forward to the new challenge: "My goal is to bring more of an international presence to the brand, in the large and growing markets of Asia and America," he said in the statement.
