Supermodel Elle Macpherson is to turn her hand to acting joining the cast of Ashton Kutcher's show A Beautiful Life, Digital Spy reports.
The programme, which is based on Ashton's time in the fashion industry, will focus on a group of models living together in New York with Elle playing the role of Claudia, the owner of the modelling agency.
Claudia is a 1980s supermodel who has held on to her great looks and figure but is a tough figure in the business.
We told you how the former O.C. star Mischa Barton has won a role in the show but is believed to have been told to keep her weight up if she wants to hold on to her part.
It is not Elle's first venture into television, she previously had a short recurring role in Friends, playing Joey's roommate Janine.
