Emma Watson Looking Stunning at the National Movie Awards Last Week

Emma Watson is one step closer to cementing herself as a style icon, by appearing on the cover of this month's Vogue's Italia.

The 'Harry Potter' star is fast growing up, and as this latest photoshoot shows, Watson seems perfectly at home in couture gowns and one-off designer pieces from around the world.

The shoot, by photographer Mark Seliger, took place in a country mansion and features Emma in a variety of couture, complete with beautifully made up hair and make-up.

The actress has been represented by Storm Special Bookings for two years and there have been whispers of huge demand for her from the world's fashion elite. Could a change of career be on the cards?

"The Italian Vogue photo shoot was a fascinating experience. I was very excited to work with Vogue for the first time, but also to be given the chance to model couture," she explains.

"Each dress was so special and important (because it is one of a kind), and we only had a short time to shoot each one before it had to go elsewhere to be worn or shot by someone else. This meant the shoot had a real momentum. And the jewellery to match each dress came with its own security guards."

"I was terrified of ripping, getting mud (as we shot outdoors), cake, a prop, or anything on the dresses!" she tells Vogue.com,

"I felt like I was learning a whole new set of rules to a new game - just like shooting a film. Mark encouraged me to become a different person or character for photograph and so they all tell difference stories. So, in the end, I combined two loves: art/fashion and acting."

She adds: "I enjoyed the fact that Mark treated me like he would have done any other model and pushed to get the best out of me. I learnt a lot and have found a whole new respect for the hard work models put into their work and for couture. A love affair has begun."
