Helen Robotham has been announced as the winner of Fashion Fringe at Covent Garden Accessories 2009.
She faced stiff competition from five fabulous finalists, but in the end won over the judging panel with her innovative designs.
The Five Finalists were interviewed by Rupert Sanderson, Sandra Choi, Creative Director Jimmy Choo, Sebastian Manes, Director of Accessories at Selfridges, under the chairmanship of Tamara Mellon, Founder and President Jimmy Choo and Lorraine Candy Editor-in-Chief of Elle.
As reward for coming first in the competition, Helen will begin a six month paid apprenticeship at Jimmy Choo in June, to further her designing career.
If she's half as successful as previous contenders, we reckon she could be a name to watch in the future, after all this is where Basso & Brooke, Erdem and William Tempest all found fashion fame.
