G-star denim is planning to expand into the states.
The trendy Dutch denim brand will kick-start their expansion plans with its first fashion show in New York.
The company will launch their womenswear range along with the highlight of the collection- the G- star Raw line.
The exclusive hand made jeans are available on request and retail from $1000 dollars.
G-star North American director told WWD:” “If you want to be an international brand, you have to be strong in the US and Japan, which is what we are focusing on in 2007.
“The women's market is stronger in the US than it is in Europe, so for us, this is a big change.
We've hired a women's design team and realize the importance of the women's collection, so the show in New York will be mostly women.”
