Gucci expands into Asia

Italian fashion house Gucci opened its largest store in Asia Pacific recently.
The 11,000 square foot flagship store was designed by architect James Carpenter.
Gucci celebrated the landmark opening in Hong Kong with a fashion show and party for the most influential people in the City.
No expense was spared for the glamorous interior which features rosewood, mohair velvet and brushed gold.
Gucci spokesperson Giannini told vogue online: I particularly like the façade,
Inside, I love the panel by Nancy Lorenz, the texture of the gold and silver and the reference of the Gucci bamboo, which has a particular relevance here in Hong Kong, and Asia.
