Dame Helen Mirren has been spotted on the set of her latest movie wearing some crocs.

Filming The Tempest in her Shakespearian costume, it's fair to say the bright pink sandals didn't really go with the rest of her look.

The shoes have proved popular with celebrities and the public alike, but it's safe to say they aren't the most fashionable shoes on offer.

Thanks to Dame Helen, however they could now experience a whole new wave of popularity from the older generation who still want to look trendy.

The film is being shot in Hawaii and also stars comic Russell Brand and Brideshead Revisited actress Felicity Jones.
