Is Kanye West creating his own fashion label...finally?

We all know that Mr Kanye West is a lover of all things fashion.
He is a regular on the front row of some of the best and most high profile fashion show weeks in the world and even has been seen sporting designs from womenswear lines, notably his time spent in a Celine cape at the Cochella festival.
So...it comes as no surprise that the rapper is wanting to design his own fashion label. Although the star has been talking about working on one for many years now, it has been revealed that he has hired Louise Goldin as designer and Central St Martins' Louise Wilson as an advisor to oversee the collection.
If that wasn't proof enough that the plans are definitely in motion, there have been reports that he is in talks with recent newly wed model legend Kate Moss to be the face for the campaign that is reportedly set to be launched at the highly respected New York Fashion Week.
The Golddigga star turned potentional fashion designer has the style world talking.
If his love of everything high-end fashion is anything to go by we are expecting great things from one of the biggest hitmakers, not to mention fashionistas on the planet.
Mr West has had some previous experience in the fashion world as he has already attempted his own label back in 2008 called Pastelle but pulled the plug before the line went into production.
Furthermore he has also collaborated with Nike and Louis Vuitton to create a collection of shoes, has interned briefly at Gap and released a line of limited edition silk scarfs, inspired by his 'My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fanstasy' record.
Given his previous encounters in the incredibly competitive world of fashion, his choice in staff in Professor Louise Wilson (from the famous Central St. Martins London design school that Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney and Hussein Chalayan attended), his perpectual presence frequenting design shows and his experience in writing about the art too for his column for online magazine, Complex...we think this eagerly anticipated line could mean great things for Mr West.
