Jason Wu has reportedly decided to put his new fur collection on hold.
The designer had shocked some people with his plans for a fur collection, particularly with animal right's activists PETA looking to target designers who were still using fur in their fashion lines.
He had planned to launch his collection with Sara Furs in the Autumn, but now due to huge demand he has decided to postpone it.
Wu came to the attention of the fashion world, after designing Michelle Obama's inaugural ball gown last month, receiving huge critical and public praise for his creation.
"As a result of increased interest and demand from our global retailers, we've decided to put our fur license on hold and concentrate on our growing ready-to-wear business," Wu said to WWD.
