Chanel will be showing on day seven of Paris Fashion Week today (02.10.12).
The iconic French brand - creatively controlled by Karl Lagerfeld - will show at the Grand Palais in the French capital, with anticipation high for the spring/summer 2013 collection.
Karl has become increasingly ostentatious with the Chanel shows in recent years, with British singers Lily Allen and Florence Welch previously performing and themes including post-apocalypse, underwater and crystal rock formations.
Also showing today is Valentino, with Hakaan forced to cancel his show following the disappearance of his collection.
Karl has been increasingly outspoken recently, chastising Britain's Duchess Catherine - also known as Kate Middleton - and her sister Pippa Middleton for not dressing well, while praising their mother Carole as "very sexy".
He said: "I think Carole is very sexy. I think the mother is sexier than the daughters. There is something full of life about her. For a woman who must be 50 or so, I think she's great. Full of energy."
Talking about Catherine and Pippa, he said: " "Kate Middleton has a nice silhouette and she is the right girl for that boy. I like that kind of woman, I like romantic beauties.
"On the other hand, her sister struggles. I don't like the sister's face. She should only show her back."
