Keira Knightley in Chanel film

Keira Knightley is to shoot a film for Chanel.

The actress replaced Kate Moss as the face of Coco Mademoiselle perfume in March. The short film will be shown on television and cinema screens from next year.

Pride and Prejudice director Joe Wright will direct her in the new campaign. Knightley follows in the footsteps of Nicole Kidman, who starred in a short film for Chanel No.5 last year.

The 22 year old actress signed a multi million pound deal with the company which is believed to be worth $1 million dollars over a three year period.

A source had revealed previously to Mail that Knightley would be perfect for the role as she is untouched by scandal.

They added:” Keira is one of the most beautiful women in the world and becoming the face Chanel is a dream come true.”
