Lady Gaga wears British fashion student dress design

She has the reputation for having no boundaries when it comes to fashion, but Lady Gaga is not in the habit of exclusively sticking to the high end labels when it comes to mantaining her iconic style status.

At a recent press event in Singapore, the You and I singing sensation stepped out in a dress by a British fashion design student Rebecca Short.

The Birmingham Univeristy graduate was stunned to hear that the Council of Fashion Dersigners of America Fashion Icon winner was wearing her simple, structured dress.

The pale baige piece, cut just about the knee could be considered conservative for a woman who once dressed in an outfit made entirely out of meat, but it suited the global star.

Rebecca's dress was styled with some trend setting drapping sleeves, making it just the sort of unique style to tempt fashion royalty such as Gaga.

Though the dress may be simple by her own admission, by concentrating on the sleeves, Rebecca has given the dress a statement focus; the draping is very autumn/winter and did we mention incredibly pro looking?

Gaga teamed her outfit with a Marge Simpson in style tall, green bonnet and some transparent heel-less -platforms!

With an interesting shape and stucture to the dress, not to mention its wearer, something tells us that Rebecca will not be Short of offers for her cutting edge designs.
