Lauren Conrad is "addicted" to knitting.
The TV personality has indulged her newfound passion by creating a scarf for her boyfriend, William Tell, and enjoyed it so much she's planning on making many more as gifts for her friends to wear this winter.
She told People.com: "I make scarves for everybody, it's like a new addiction of mine.
"All I know how to do is make a scarf, but I really enjoy knitting so I can't like give those things away. I keep making people wear them and nobody even really wants them anymore."
Now that she's creating so much winter wear the designer - who has her own Paper Crown line - is just waiting for the seasons to change, so she can show off her own creations.
She added: "I'm excited for the weather to change so I can finally wear some of it, because I've gotten some really great boots."
Giving her style tips for the forthcoming winter, 'The Hills' star added: "It's all about texture this season, so whether it's the big chunky knits or the mixing in of leather pieces."
