Liz Hurley has opened her very first beachwear boutique, in discount designer shopping outlet, Bicester Village.
The model and actress declined to model her products on the day, but did step behind the counter to serve her eager customers.
Despite a decent turnout, there was no sign of Hurley's A-list pals showing their support, but husband Arun Nayar supported her from the sidelines, while she manned the tills at the Oxfordshire outlet.
The boutique, which is designed to look like a beach hut, will offer 120 British and international fashion labels, including Philip Treacy sun hats, in addition to Hurley's own line of swimwear.
She told the eager fashion crowd: "It's a huge thrill. Thank you all for coming. I'm going to be serving behind the till until 2pm," reports Marie Claire.
Earlier she joked about being able to operate the till, but seemed at ease with her new retail role.
A spokeswoman for the shopping centre said: "She's being very game, wrapping up and personalising the presents."
