Madonna admits it's her daughter with the fashion talent

Following the decision to part ways with Taylor Momsen in favour of Kelly Osborne, Madonna has spoken out saying the talent behind clothing line Material Girl is her 14-year-old daughter Lourdes Leon.

Though the fashion line is a joint venture between mother and daughter, Madonna has said that it is Lourdes that is the talent and the majority of the designs are that of her daughter, with very few of the designs coming from the 52-year-old style icon herself.

The collection, which is only available from Macy's has been a big hit showing that Lourdes is definitely set to be following in the footsteps of her mother as a global fashionista.

Kelly Osbourne spoke about Lourdes saying that it is not like talking to an ordinary 15-year-old as she is so smart. Already she is showing definite promise in fashion and seen to be very hands on with the design and styling process. She was even spotted helping Kelly with her jewellery at their photo shoot in New York.

Lourdes believes that the reason the line has been so successful is because it has the ability to change and move with the times. Perhaps that is the beauty of having such young blood in the driving seat?
