Mary J Blige claims Jesus Christ is her beauty advisor.

The R'n'B star says she always struggled to accept her appearance until she turned to the Bible for guidance - and now she looks better than ever.

She revealed: "People have noticed the change in me. They're always saying, 'Wow Mary, what's your beauty regimen?' and I reply, 'My beauty regimen is Christ!'"

Mary admitted she turned to God and Jesus when her obsession with looking good made her go "crazy."

She explained to Britain's Independent newspaper : "My priorities were hair and make-up and clothes - fixing up my outside.

"I had to learn to love myself from the inside out. And I did that by thinking about what God required from me, instead of thinking about what I thought I needed.

I read the Bible to try to understand, 'Lord, what is it that you want me to do today? You want me to love and not be judgemental?

Fine, I won't' It helps me, it gives me a rush and puts a glow on my face from the inside out."
