Michael Kors Talks Michelle Obama Fashion

Michael Kors has spoken out about the incorrectly credited dress that Michelle Obama wore recently.

The ever stylish First Lady was reported to have worn an elegant black column gown, by designer Azzedine Alaia, when in fact it was created by Michael Kors.

She wore the gorgeous dress to the to the Time 100 gala in N.Y.C. last week, earning much style praise for her fashion choice on the night.

However, it's Michelle's choice of dress to White House Correspondent’s dinner, which has caused the fashion cynics to get their claws out, as the dress in question was in fact another Kors design.

Rumours have been rife that Michelle opted for the gown as some form of peace offering, an idea which Kors himself is quick to shoot down.

He told WWD: "I am sure a woman as smart and organized as Mrs. Obama knew in advance what she planned to wear this week for both events."

"I am honoured that she chose to wear my clothes to two events in the same week and looked so chic at both occasions."
