Mulberry Opens Men's Flagship Store

Mulberry opened its first menswear store in London’s Covent Garden last week in a bid to expand their male focus

The unveiling of the 300sq ft flagship store coincided with the relaunch of the label's website as part of Mulberry's plans to cash in on the growth of menswear and online sales.

The brand's owners are hoping the website will become its biggest selling retail outlet and hopes the re-design will be effective Chief operating officer Lisa Montague told mpd.

The website currently makes up 10% of the company's sales, and has moved to the second highest sales position since the re-launch.

Mulberry are also planning to expand into the Italian luxury goods market, and will show at the new Pitti Immagine womenswear trade show in Florence in January
