Naomi Campbell's Fashion Relief Show Attracts Star Models

21-09-2007 14:59

Naomi Campbell's charity fashion show provided a celebrity packed ending to this year's London Fashion Week last night.

Christian Slater, Jamelia, Patsy Palmer and Rio Ferdinand joined professional models, including Lily Cole, Yasmin Le Bon and Lizzie Jagger on the runway in order to raise money for the victims of this summer's floods.

The show also provided a catwalk debut for Princess Beatrice alongside her mum Fergie. The pair held hands and laughed as they modelled matching black Dolce & Gabbana dresses and an estimated £5 million worth of Garrard jewellery at the event held at the Natural History Museum.

"They were a sensation and seemed to be really enjoying it. Beatrice looked a little nervous, but her mother clasped her hand firmly and they totally owned the catwalk. They got the biggest applause of the night," said on onlooker.

Bigg Brother twins Sam and Amanda also lost their runway virginity as they modelled contrasting red and black satin boob-tube dresses.

Top Shop boss Sir Philip Green annoucned at the beginning of the evening that the store had donated £50,000 while the billionaire and his wife were donating the same again personally.

"My friend and new designer, who is one of the inspirations for this business, Kate Moss, is going to add another £25,000," he also confirmed as Kate sat beside him.
