Nicole Kidman wears tree inspired dress for CMT Awards

Nicole Kidman shocked onlookers at the 2011 CMT Music Awards as she hit the red carpet in an odd tree inspired dress.

The stunning red head wore a dress with green and navy stripes on top, some strange zig-zag pattern in the middle before going to a sheer brown bottom half.

If that wasn't even for our eyes to take in, the Moulin Rouge star wore lilac shoes that didn't exactly compliment the look.

That said, the actress posed for the cameras no end and looked super happy with country singer husband Keith Urban.

Maybe Nicole missed the memo about the trend being floral and not tree inspired this year!
