What does a Hollywood A List star do on a glorious sunny Friday afternoon in Sydney? Go shopping of course.

Nicole Kidman mingled with everyday shoppers and customers during a visit to the David Jones store in the CBD yesterday.

The surprise appearance was an end-of-week celebrity boost for David Jones which is locked in a store war with arch rival Myer. It was the second visit to DJs in a week for Ms Kidman and her family.

Tuesday, Nicole’s mum Janelle went shopping for a swimming costume at the Chatswood store. Her appearance caused a bit of a rumble, but it was a different story Friday when she joined her famous daughter.

Within minutes of them entering the store, they caused quite a commotion as a buzz quickly spread across the cosmetics floor

Nicole browsed for some 15 minutes before selecting a scarf and some Chanel make-up. Then, politely queuing with other customers to pay the bill, she signed autographs.source:aus.com
