Nicole Kidman has been pictured going back to her roots in a fashion shoot for Vogue.

The actress looked stunning as she posed on LA's Malibu beach, dressed in a long plum ball gown, her freshly dyed ginger hair styled into elegant curls.

Nicole kept her skin sheltered from the sun during the photoshoot, taking an umbrella with her when she strolled along on the beach, reports the Daily Mail.

After years of dying her hair blonde, Nicole apparently decided it was time to go back to her roots for the glamorous photoshoot, despite this not being the first time she has posed for the fashion bible.

She graced the front cover only last July to promote her film Australia, and has become something of a Vogue favourite over the years, posing numerous times during her 20-year acting career.
