Beckhams Furious at Ralph Lauren

David and Victoria Beckham were furious when Ralph Lauren used their sons to drum up publicity recently.

The couple went ballistic when the fashion house emailed a press release boasting that Brooklyn and Romeo wore £250 blazers from their Wimbledon range- with instruction on where photos could be bought.

An insider told the Mirror:" Victoria and David are fiercely protective of their three sons and went apoplectic when they discovered what Ralph Lauren had done."

"Neither of them gave their consent for this - as far as they were concerned they went to a friend's private christening with their kids. It's one thing if they are on the red carpet or at a showbiz bash, but this is just ridiculous - and totally irresponsible."

Less than 24 hours later Ralph Lauren sent out a back tracking email which read:

"With reference to the information below please be aware that this was not circulated with the co-operation of the Beckhams, and attention to the children is not endorsed."
