Richard Nicoll has teamed up with Topshop to create a bridal range called Tie the Knot.

We can head to the fashion haven now for eveything er need, jeans, heels, holiday essentials and a dress for the biggest day of our lived.

"I proposed the idea after my Spring/Summer 2012 show," Nicoll told British Vogue.

"I liked the idea of making a modern affordable alternative to meringue culture.

"The dresses are marketed as bridal but would equally be suitable as bridesmaid or cocktail dresses."

The collection is very simple with lace detaileing and very soft fabrics.

You can imagine Kate Moss or Sienna Miller with pieces of this collection in their bridal party.

The designer is insistint that this is not his new direction though.

"I've added some red carpet options to my forthcoming resort collection but wedding dresses are not something I plan to launch," Nicoll explained.

"Of course I'm happy to make them on request but I'm not the new Vera Wang, no!"

The collection is set to launch online at Topshop.com and in London's Oxford circus, Selfridges and Brompton Road Stores in June 15.
