The Chanel family are scared about how they will be portrayed in the new film about them being directed by Ridley Scott.
The world's most fashionable family are said to be concerned about how far the director will go in his feature length account of their history.
The fashion house was founded in Florence by Guccio Gucci in 1906 but it is believed that the film will mostly focus on the period from 1983, when Maurizio Gucci (Guccio's grandson) took over the empire until his death in 1995.
"It seems to me the idea is to make a very aggressive film," Patrizia Gucci, the great-granddaughter of Guccio, told The Guardian.
"I find it offensive. It does not seem to me to be worthy of Ridley Scott, who is a great director."
Maurizio was killed in a shooting on the eve of a fashion show hosted by, Tom Ford, who had just started working for the house. His ex-wife was later convicted of arranging the killing.
