Roberto Cavalli Wants Cheryl

The 'Parachute' singer could make up to £5 million if she signs lucrative deals with the fashion house and other brands who are said to keen to get the star to appear for them.

While Cavalli has reportedly offered the star £1.3 million to front his new collection, two other major labels - one rumoured to be a high street chain - are also keen to line up Cheryl to front their brands, which could be worth another £2 million.

Claire Beale, editor of advertising industry magazine campaign told the Daily Mirror: "Cheryl is a great brand icon. She is the Victoria Beckham for a new generation of women, but perhaps cooler and more streetwise than her.

"Her fashion credentials aren't yet up to Beckham's standards, and she's still a little more high street than couture.

"She combines beauty, poise and elegance with warmth and personality. She can look forward to earning more than £500,000 for an international contract with a beauty house, and more if she becomes a fully-fledged brand ambassador.

"She is a fantastic example of an ordinary girl made good."

Cavalli has previously worked with Victoria Beckham and has strong ties to the former Spice Girls singer, who is a big fan of his label.
