A date for the Sex and the City sequel has been confirmed for next year.

We kid you not ladies, our fab foursome will apparently be returning to the big screen on 28 May 2010, according to E Online.

The movie is likely to go head-to-head with the gorgeous Jake Gyllenhaal's Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, and we've already got a slight incline as to who will win that battle.

Last year's movie outing was a worldwide success, raking in a whopping $415 million worldwide off a $65 million budget, and making stars of its original stars all over again.

All four leading ladies including Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, have signed up for the sequel, and filming is rumoured to begin very shortly.
