It was surely the most fashionable film of last year and now Sex and the City has been nominated for an award at the Costume Designers Guild 11th annual awards.
The film spawned many a trend such as the Eiffel Tower handbag and now Patricia Field's clothes have been nominated in the Excellence In Contemporary Film category. It is not the first nomination for Patricia, she has already won four Costume Designers Guild awards for her work on Sex and the City the TV show.
The label loving film is up against designs from Iron Man, Mama Mia, Slumdog Millionaire and The Wrestler in its category.
Some of our favourite fashion TV shows also received nods with Ugly Betty and Gossip Girl, which returns to screens this week, been nominated in the Contemporary Television Series category.
The awards will be handed out at a gala hosted by Debra Messing at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel on 17th February.
