His designs were a favourite among the top celebrities of the day, which included style icon Bianca Jagger and singer Marianne Faithful.

Haviland has decided to make a fashion comeback at London fashion week in a tongue in cheek show this week.

The show was held in Yo Sushi restaurant renamed Yo Shoe See and shoes were sent around the conveyor belt.

Following key trend from this years shows, there were python skin platforms in a metallic finish and high wedges.

Although, his eccentric looking black and silver shoe boot looked like it still belonged in the seventies era.

Havilland decided to get back into the business after reportedly noticing the similarity with his old style and some of Prada’s shoes.

It remains to be seen whether the fashion crowd and celebrities embrace his new collection.
