Spanx Launching Clothing Line

We can all appreciate the work of Spanx pants and their toning affect on the figure, even celebs like Lady GaGa and Kate Winslet are fans. Now the label is planning its own clothing line, Glamour reports.

Spanx founder Sara Blakely told Glamour: "I'm very inspired to make certain articles of clothing that I won't disclose, that are in the works right now, with certain elements of Spanx hidden in them that will be fabulous.

"The way we operate at Spanx is, when it's right we launch it, so it's hard to say a definitive deadline because we don't operate like that. But there are about three categories in apparel that we are aggressively pursuing and have been making prototypes and working on for, some of them, up to two years."

After the success of Herve Leger bandage dress that has been seen on pretty much every celebrity and Hollywood and further, it's little surprise Spanx wants to move it's name from the underwear draw to the wardrobe.

But if the clothes are going to be as super-tight as the underwear, what the hell do we wear under them!?
