Stella McCartney reinforced her anti-fur message at her show in Paris this week, as she took the opportunity to promote PETA's new campaign.

The designer unveiled her AW09 collection to a star studded crowd, before unveiling PETA's latest advert with singer Pink.

Pink and comedian Ricky Gervais provide voiceovers for the animated advert, which is designed to discourage fur and skin use in fashion.

In the adverts, the two take on the role of bloody animals who have been skinned, and are trying to get their coats back from some wealthy humans.

"It's a little tough," said one audience member. "It isn't everyone's taste- but the images of a so-called, fashionably well-dressed couple wrestling a skinned cartoon bunny for his pelt is kind of funny. It raises the question in a new way," reports People.

After protestors voicing a noisy campaign outside Jean-Paul Gaultier's fashion show at the weekend, Paris has arguably never been more aware of PETA's presence.
