Tom Ford to Direct Movie

Tom Ford may be about to swap the catwalk for the big screen as he reveals plans to direct a movie.

The designer is keen to direct a movie adaption of Christopher Isherwood's 1964 novel A Single Man, according to wwd.

The story follows a day in the life of a gay man in Los Angeles- not a million miles from Ford's real life!

Tom's interest in getting into the film industry has been hinted at for a while but most would have expected his handsome goodlooks to see him in front of the camera rather than behind.

There has been no confirmation from the Ford camp- but watch this space for updates.
